We are looking for a full-time dog assistant to help out 40 hours a week caring for dogs, monitoring play between dogs in the play yard and cleaning up after the dogs. Occasional personal assistant tasks will be involved as well. Applicant must have: 1) Excellent people and social skills. 2) Hands-on experience being responsible for dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds. 3) Availability on weekends and reliable transportation. Responsibilities Include: - Dog let outs, feedings, walks and cleaning up - Basic training of the dogs in various basic obedience skills - Monitoring dog socialization in the play yard Requirements: - Loves dogs - duh! - Strong customer service background and skills - Patient, empathetic, and very attentive to details Attitude: - Goal Oriented, self-starter, well-organized and able to establish priorities and deadlines - Eagerness to learn and take on additional tasks Looking for someone to start ASAP.
