Drummer and Bassist in Search of LEAD GUITARIST/Lead Vocals We're looking for a lead guitarist to join our band. Someone who can ALSO sing lead vocals. Please respond even if you don't sing lead vocals. Just in case we can't find a lead guitarist who can sing lead vocals, we will have a singer/rhythm guitarist as well. About us: We are female but you can be either. We play classic rock. We do not smoke…only reply if you're a non-smoker. We are older than 40...one of us way older. You must be: A non-smoker Please not be in another band. We are currently playing in a small section of our garage (with the garage door open) until our new band room is ready. We would like to open for other bands again at first. When we have enough songs, we we will find our own gigs. Here are examples of the type of songs we will be doing: A Little Less Conversation, Are You Gonna Go My Way, Back in Black, Hard to Handle, Black Horse and a Cherry Tree, Paranoid, The Heart of Rock and Roll and Takin' Care of Business. We may be adding: Bad Motor Scooter, Die to Live, Rock Candy, Nothin’ But a Good Time, Footloose, (Ain't Nothing But a) House Party, etc. It all depends on whether or not all band members agree to these songs. If our lead singer ends up being female, we can also add songs from Pat Benatar, Joan Jett, Chrissie Hynde, Patty Smyth, etc. Rehearsals are in Culver City so we prefer you to be local to Culver City since we will be rehearsing on Saturdays and then again once during the week at some point. Please be able to rehearse on Saturdays and again once during the week if we have a gig coming up. You must have your Saturdays open. We can move the rehearsal to Friday if you have a special event on Saturday. If we still interest you, drop us a line! To cut down on back and forth emails..
