Baldur is a very sweet, very high energy dog. He's well trained and very reliable at his cues and tricks when not overstimulated (though he needs lots of "proofing" to get really reliable when excited). He loves positive training, learning new things, meeting new dogs, and sprinting around - he can even climb our tree! He's three years old, neutered, vaccinated, and in great health. He's registered and I have all his records. I am carefully screening everyone who's interested in him to make sure he goes to a good home. Baldur has a very high prey drive. He's a pointer, so small animals (cats, chickens, etc) are not safe around him, which is why I'm rehoming him. He needs a home where that's not an issue. Also, important: Baldur is worried about people taking his food. Once, when someone he didn't know tried to touch his food bowl while he was eating, he bit them. He needs to be either left alone in a room by himself when he's eating, or hand-fed (handfuls of dinner during training games or while playing games like fetch). Baldur is a really great dog, and we love him a lot. He just needs a home where he can be his full, high energy, bird dog self.
