Male Lead Vocalist Looking for Jams in / around Uptown

Experienced musician and performer looking to stretch / flex vocal skills. I've played locally at Subt and Uncommon. I typically write and play my own music, usually on guitar, but playing guitar is starting to feel limiting as I'm craving more immersive performances (and I'm just not technically proficient enough on the instrument to really lose myself to the extent that I'm able). I have a strong ear for interesting vocal melodies, and I'm drawn to music mainly for the lyrics and performance aspect of it anyway. MUSIC PREFERENCES: Freaky shit: - The Dead Weather (Sea of Cowards) - PJ Harvey (To Bring You My Love, Rid of Me) - Siouxsie & the Banshees (The Scream, Juju) Dream pop: - Cocteau Twins (Heaven or Las Vegas) If you already have a group formed and are looking for a vocalist to flesh out or improvise over some songs, that's ideal! Essentially looking for a relaxed way to try jamming in this capacity with a group, and - if it doesn't work out - no hard feelings. I can send a demo of my work on request.
