Description
6 month old Husky/Shepherd mix, female, spayed, all shots up to date. Sweet & loving to us & with our other dogs, but skiddish of strangers & unknown dogs. She will need proper socialization training. Does fine with our house cat. Mostly housebroke, but will occasionally have accidents if not let out often enough. She is also pad trained. Crate trained, but does fine left out all night. She knows sit, focus, leave it, wait, & doing pretty well on leash training. She loves playing with our other dogs & most of the time she is okay around food, but occasionally show signs of possible tendency of food aggression which will need monitored & kept in check so that it doesn't progress (At the moment it has not been anything severe.) Very playful & loves to play with our other dogs. She behaves fantastic on car rides, but long trips occasionally cause her to get car sick (that's improving more all the time). She needs a home with someone experienced with Huskies & experienced with training, as well as someone with patience in helping her over her fear of unknown people. She does well walking her through a busy town past people, bicycles, etc & even allows most people to give her treats & even some petting after a moment, but she does best when she can be the one to choose when to approach. We will be very picky in finding her the best home. Must have vet reference & be willing for me to contact your vet to verify. There is a rehoming fee to ensure that she will not be flipped or used for bait.
