I'm interested in working with a Lynchburg-based (or general area) country band. I'm a seasoned guitarist and steel player. I would like to play classic country, honky-tonk, and a little bit of some newer country: in that order. Down side: I am not available during the week for rehearsal or gigs. Weekends only. I have pro gear, have played in bands nearly all my life, and I sing backup harmony. I'm easy to work with, but I do express opinions, when warranted or when asked. I don't want to get stuck in the basement or garage, so working 2-3 gigs/month would be great. I would like to make more than gas money. So, if you are looking for an "over 30+" steel player, you're serious about your music, and the only thing missing is that sweet sound of a pedal steel...give me a holler.
