Our Bielefelder hen has been an extremely good mommy for the past 5 weeks; she has hatched all the fertile eggs and raised all chicks with a lot of dedication and affection, teaching them how to forage and be sweet to humans. It was a really fun experience to watch her brood, hatch and take good care of her babies. But we just don't have enough space for more chickens and decided to find good loving homes for her chicks. Only 2 chicks (straight run) left. The black and white and a brown one in the pictures. Very tame will come to you for snacks and petting. They are ready for their new home as pets, or need to be kept in brooder until ready to add to an existing flock in min 3 weeks (when they are big enough or they might get pecked and killed by the older ones). They will need a good predator safe coop that is protected against the elements since they no longer can snuggle under their mother’s wings at night. Rehoming fee $5 for both.
