Description

Hey buddy, I need your experienced professional help. You need to have actual experience with tankless heaters and a pex manifold. I have an EcoSmart 18 tankless mounted on the wall. It needs to be properly plumbed and connected to a Pex manifold that is also already mounted on the wall. (From there the half inch lines go to a new kitchen.) We need to disconnect the temporary old water heater, re-route the incoming cold water supply and the outgoing hot water supply to the Pex manifold. We also need to install a ‘filter’ in the water intake line before the heater. That means simply cutting the 3/4 inch PEX line and installing the filter. But we may have to reroute some lines … it depends on what’s possible and the best choice. I have mesh metal connectors that connect to the hot and cold on the tankless, but the opposite end does not match with 1/2 inch manifold connections. We probably need to have different connection lines to fit the 1/2 inch manifold connections, perhaps using sharkbite. Lastly we need to hook up a half inch PEX line for the washing machine to the Pex manifold. After we drain the lines to purge air bubbles, we need to hook up the 2 power cords to the installed tankless heater. The power is right there waiting to be connected. I do not have a Pex cutter, proper SharkBite connectors, or the crimping tool for the 3/4 and 1/2 inch clamps that go on the PEX lines. I trust you already have those proper tools. I Do have the pex and the crimp-clamps. I’ve had two plumbers here but they apparently didn’t really know what they were doing, so I need a guy who will actually do the job and finish it correctly. I had a new electrical panel installed so the proper power amperage is ready to go. I’m hoping you can also help me run a new dryer vent pipe from the dryer to the outside - it will be easy because it’s a straight shot. If not, that’s ok. The water heater we’re replacing works great, but it’s temporarily located where it can’t be and there’s no room for it here. It’s good, a Bradford-White, and you can have it for free. Sell it for $100 if you want. Or at least help me get rid of it. As a bonus, I’ll give you numerous 8’ red and blue pex lines - and 50 feet of 1” underground black Pex - all new. To recap: Tankless plumbing properly configured to pex manifold Filter installed in the line before the heater Disconnect old water heater and hook power to the tankless Re-route some Pex lines - possibly. Verify all water lines to insure everything in this new kitchen will work properly. Pressure test Email me Only if you have the exact skills. I’ll send pictures to your phone after we talk so you can see exactly what needs to be done. I think you can do this easily in a few hours in one afternoon. We can do this by the hour or you can bid the job once you see it. I’m flexible to accommodate your time and needs. I live in NW Eugene, 3 blocks north of Barger, so it’s an easy drive to get here. I’m here most of the time, so you can come by anytime and have a look if you want. Thanks, Glenn
