Aerospace Company currently has an opportunity within the test department for the role of Test Tech III (Day shift 5:00 a.m. or 6:00 a.m. and 2nd shift positions 3:00 p.m. -1pm with a 5% shift premium). This position performs acceptance test procedures (ATP) on various hydraulic and pneumatic aerospace system components. Key responsibilities of this role include: • Setup standard and special purpose test equipment to test and evaluate components. • Will uses appropriate inspection techniques and calibrated equipment for the parts being tested. • Ensures all work is conducted in accordance with approved technical data, customer specifications. • Record information as outlined by the engineering department. Qualified applicants will distinguish themselves with: • Strong working ethics. • Ability to learn to read and understand test procedures. • Ability to learn to read and interpret blueprints, pressure gauges, flow-meters (glass tube and digital), multi-meters, and power supplies. • Good communications; presentation and interpersonal skills. • Focus on workplace organization coupled with demonstrated attention to detail. • High school diploma or general education diplomat (GED)
