Her name is Turtle. She's a doberman German shepherd mix. I adopted her at 4 months old, after my service dog, a doberman, passed away young and unexpectedly of heart failure. I think because I got her so close to losing my first dog, I've had trouble bonding with her the way I need to. I've tried to shake that feeling, but I've spoken to enough people now to know someone else out there might bond fully with her. I'm in no rush to find that person, but I hope I can. I think its what would be best for both of us. She's incredibly smart, and loving. All her basic training is done. She loves fetch and cuddling. She's been raised around my nieces and nephews ranging from 3 months old to 5 years, so she's good with kids. She loves trick and agility training, and we hike pretty often to keep her energy levels manageable. Please text me if you think you might be a good new fit for Turtle and would like to meet her.
