Paint Line Operator

We are looking for a well-rounded person with a strong background working in a Manufacturing environment. In this role, you will perform duties in a team that operates the in house powder coating line. Responsibilities include: • Operate powder coat spray booth • Load and unload parts to/from the paint line • Perform powder color changeovers and line purges • Operate forklift equipment to move and stage materials to and from the paint line • Follow operational procedures for meeting time standards, safety and quality. • Identify areas of continuous improvement to shorten production cycles eliminating waste and inefficiencies without sacrificing product quality. Basic Requirements for the position will be: • Ability to stand for long periods of time • Ability to lift up to 50lbs • Ability to support a flexible schedule (overtime) as needed and required. • Excellent people and communication skills.
