alternative/punk/indie rock band seeks lead vocalist

hey there, we're a relatively new brooklyn-based alternative/punk/indie rock band and we're looking for a lead vocalist. ideally we're looking for a female lead singer who also plays rhythm guitar or keys but we're totally open to a male lead singer who can play guitar or keys as well. please have prior band experience, must be into this kind of music, be over 30 and can get to practice on time. some of our influences are: quicksand, hum, failure, swervedriver, hot water music, jawbreaker/jets to brazil, alkaline trio, texas is the reason, jawbox, the clash, the damned, the cure, joy division, interpol, ride, jesus and mary chain, black angels, and black rebel motorcycle club just to name a few. basically a good mix of 90's alternative, punk, shoegaze and some psych rock. you can hear some music (all songs are minus vocals) at https://soundcloud.com/supercollider_nyc. we practice weekly, intend to play shows when there's shows to be played again, and eventually record. we're not into heavy drinking/drugs, drama queens or flakes. we take music very seriously but we're not looking to take over the world. basically we just want to make music with like minded individuals who are into this sort of music and have FUN doing it. so if this sound interesting to anyone, please email with some samples and we'll go from there. thanks.
