Taught by Lise Flora Waugh, MS, C-IAYT, LMT3 CEs for LMTsIn this hands on class, you will be guided through techniques to enhance your current massage practice. Assisting clients in joint freeing movements, finding the edge of movement patterns and providing appropriate stretches for improved mobility and ease. This work comes from the lens of Traditional Thai Massage. Students will learn proper positioning for their own body as well as the safety of the client, table height, and discuss issues around draping as needed. In order for the receiver to be comfortable and enjoy the process, the giver must be comfortable as well. Please bring a massage table and sheets. North Cascade Massage Connection (NCMC) is a non-profit, all-volunteer group dedicated to providing continuing education, support, and inspiration to licensed massage therapists in northwestern Washington.
