A Fashion Auction of Designer & Boutique Apparel. Fashion items for men & women will be available for bidding starting as low as $5.00 Two forces in the local fashion industry are collaborating during Baltimore Fashion Week to present an interactive event. Dawn Harrell, the Fashion Department Chair at Baltimore Design School and Earle Bannister, master tailor and fashion designer are producing a Fashion Auction for Baltimore Fashion Week, on Saturday, September 18th, 2021 from 7pm to 11pm at The Garage in Baltimore City. We will be using 10% of our proceeds to raise money towards a $1000.00 educational scholarship for an aspiring fashion design student at Baltimore Design School. Instead of the predictable fashion shows that plague Fashion Weeks all over the country, we are producing auctions. The auction brings out buyers and potential clients that are not only interested in fashion, live for fashion, but want to leave with purchases. Selected Designers and stores/boutiques in the local area will offer their items for auction and the audience bids against each other for the garment. The highest bidder wins! The tension and drama between bidders is palpable and adds another layer of excitement to the event.The auction items are worn by standard professional models providing an excellent runway presentation for each and every garment. Male and Female clothing will be up for auction in a range of sizes. So there will be something for everyone in the audience. If you are a vendor or sponsor for the event, be ready to service an audience that is prepared and capable to support your business. We expect 200 to 250 bidders in the audience for this Saturday evening Fashion Week Event.
