For the first time in history, the grounds of the John Brown House will rock for equality & freedom for an event featuring Anne E. DeChant. Join us for a special fund-raising concert sponsored by the Summit County Historical Society of Akron. Ohio. Headlining the concert: Anne E. DeChantTickets are $18.59 (for the year of Harpers Ferry) and $101 (for 101 years of women’s suffrage) for VIP tickets. Bring your chairs and enjoy this outside concert on the grounds of the John Brown House, 514 Diagonal Road, Akron. Come support the Sojourner Truth Statue and John Brown House. Sing. Dance. Enjoy. Watch history being made. The event will occur rain or shine. Founded in 1924, the mission of Summit County Historical Society, a 501(c)3 corporation, is to preserve and interpret the history of Summit County and Akron, and to educate regional communities about the people and events that have shaped our rich history.
