Mingle with some great single ladies and join us for a panel on how to manage your emotions before, during, and after divorce! Divorce can be an incredibly challenging time - and one of the hardest parts about the process and life afterwards is managing a rollercoaster of emotions. The grief of the end of a relationship, legal issues, financial concerns, children, coparenting, and new relationships can all be part of the mix! Join our panel for "Managing the Emotional Rollercoaster" with psychotherapist Phyllis Weihs-Yavner and divorce coach Amy Polacko of Freedom Warrior. They'll be talking about the different stages and challenges of this time plus will have a Q & A after. As always, we'll have plenty of time for mingling and meeting new women in our group! We were thrilled to start meeting in person again in August with our "Fresh Start Summer Social" which was a great night of connections and laughter. Strong Savvy Women is an empowerment group for women who are single, divorced, widowed, or are in transition. It was founded in 2020 by single mom Amy Polacko of Freedom Warrior (www.freedomwarrior.info) who coaches women after divorce or a toxic relationship. The group's focus is helping single women move forward– by supporting each other, learning from expert speakers, and having fun. Past event topics have included financial tips, legal advice, co-parenting, self-love, and dating post Covid. Attorney Rosemarie Ferrante of the Divorce Mediation Center of Ridgefield/Danbury LLC and financial planner Alison Hamilton of Eagle Ridge Investment Management LLC are on the group’s advisory board.
