Join the Long Beach Historical Society and Arts In The Plaza for dance, fitness and fun, provided by Jeannie Pendergrass! The Long Beach Historical Society and Arts In The Plaza have come together to present to you a series of workshops over the summer season that highlight local businesses and art! We provide the hula hoops and choreographed instruction - all you need to bring is yourself! $20 per person, all ages welcome! RSVPs required prior to event date. --- About Arts In The Plaza: Arts In The Plaza is a weekly, outdoor arts festival in Long Beach, NY that features handcrafted art by Long Island artists, live music and cultural performances. Located in the center of town at Kennedy Plaza, Arts In The Plaza takes place every Saturday from 10am to 3pm beginning Memorial Day weekend through Halloween. Each week, local artists showcase a diverse assortment of products and services in various mediums including photography, jewelry, fine art, mixed media, clothing, accessories and home decor. All artists involved in Arts In The Plaza are also members of local arts organizations including the Artists in Partnership, West End Arts Visual Artists Guild, and the Long Beach Art League.
