Description

One of Long Island's largest and most anticipated events - join us to learn more about how to become a LIFFC Boxer Each year, more than 1,000 individuals gather together to support Long Island business leaders, both men and women, who have trained, fundraised and put on their gloves to fight for charity. Since 2003 LI-FFC has donated over $1.5 million to local charities. Founded in 2003 by Jeff Cohen, Matt Silver and Jamie Austin, the Long Island Fight for Charity, the nation’s only all-volunteer charity boxing event, is one of Long Island’s largest and most anticipated annual charity fundraising networking events. Local men and women from the business and not-for-profit communities square off in a boxing ring for charity each November. Nearly 300 men and women have earned the title of LIFFC Alumni Boxer and over $1 million has been raised for charities, including Long Island Community Chest, Genesis School, National Foundation for Human Potential (FREE) and more. Over 1,200 people attend the event each year and more than 20 local restaurants and beverage companies support this event.
