Neighbors helping another get piece of the bread they need! BREAD NJ is a micro-granting dinner celebrating and supporting creative projects in the Greater Newark Area. Register & Pay Today OR Sign In & Cash at the Door! Learn about creative projects happening in the Greater Newark Area. Vote on which project to fund with the money raised from the evening's dinner. BREAD NJ is: a collaborative situation a public dinner a platform for essential connections a democratic experiment in micro-funding a hub for bringing together various creative disciplines a platform for serious yet accessible discourse an opportunity to support creative people in Greater Newark Area. Each presenter has four minutes to share their idea and answer four questions from the audience. Afterwards attendees vote on the project they think benefits the Greater Newark Area the most via a ballot. At the end of the night, we count the ballots and the winner goes home with all of the money raised to carry out their project. Winners come back to a future BREAD NJ dinner to report their project’s progress. BREAD NJ will be held in person thus seating will be at reduced capacity and socially distanced in accordance with CDC and State of New Jersey guidelines. Register Today, $5 donation for a vote!
