This is the Introductory Session for the eight-week Depression & Anxiety Recovery Progam, presented at the Salient Lifestyle Center The good news is that depression is reversible, and we are here to help! Welcome to the Chicago Northwest Suburbs page of Nedley Depression and Anxiety Recovery Program! This is the community program that is spread over eight weeks, not the clinical ten days residential program. Community program directors and moderators are trained and licensed by Nedley Health Solutions. During the Introductory Session, you watch Dr. Neil Nedley, M.D. presenting an overview of the program, the research being it, and the amazing clinical results. Also, you are introduced to the books and lifestyle therapies used during the eight-week program. As a result, you can make a decision if this program is right for you or for your loved ones! About one-third of the program participants do not suffer from depression, but want to learn how to help a loved one. Young professionals attend this program to help reach peak mental performance. Also, some mental health practitioners attend this program to learn new ways to address the epidemic of depression and anxiety, especially from the lifestyle medicine perspective. Continue education credits are available for a very small fee.
