The first public reading by the members of the Afrosurrealist Writers Workshop in two momentous years. This is the first public reading of the members of the Afrosurrealist Writers Workshop in two momentous years. All who are vaccinated are invited. Others who agree to wear masks at all times are welcome. The museum requires masks upon its grounds. Readers will all be vaccinated. We are excited to be holding this at the same time that the Afrosurrealist exhibition honoring Octavia Butler and other Black creators involved in Afrofuturism and Afrosurrealism from the twentieth century. We walk in their light. We will be in the garden in the corner near the James Moore theater.
