Calling all first responders, military members, and public safety technology entrepreneurs - come grab some FREE beer and apps at Hershel's (located in the Stella Hotel) next Thursday, August 19th from 5-7 pm.
Our mission for Tech on Tap is to facilitate an ecosystem of innovation, connection, and conversation between first responders and those working to develop public safety technology.
Tech on Tap will be held on the 3rd Thursday of every month. Follow Safe Tech on social media for monthly updates about locations and Tech on Tap guest speakers.
Safe Tech is a fabrication laboratory (FABLab) and makers’ space established to foster innovation and offer support to companies and individuals committed to creating products and technologies for first responders and our armed forces.
Safe Tech was founded in 2019 by Caleb Holt, following his tenure as Director of Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service’s Product Development Center, along with other former TEEX employees and a talented development, testing, marketing, and business staff.
Holt’s extensive knowledge of public safety and military technology innovation stems from his previous experience helping clients around the world through the product development process, including expertise in competitive analysis, testing and validation of new technology, and product optimization.
