Lloyd Gil Wright will be performing at the Rolling Hills Urban Tasting Room. Nothing pairs better with wine than Jazz Piano Lloyd studied piano from a very early age and went on to study with accomplished Philadelphia jazz organist Chester smith. Not only does Lloyd play piano,organ and synth he can also kick a mean bass pedal on the organ. Lloyd started performing professionally in clubs before he was of legal age to be in them. He started writing music after he was out of high school. He has had a long career of performing his own music as well as performing in cover bands, wedding bands and working for original artists. Lloyd has had the privilege of performing,recording and touring for five (plus) years with nationally acclaimed and award winning songwriter Woody Russell which gave him great pleasure, experience and making friends all across the US. Along with performing Lloyd writes and produces his own songs as well as electronic music which he markets to hip hop artists, TV, Radio and film. Lloyd has had the pleasure of performing all over the US with various talent . He has had residencies with artists in highly acclaimed venues such as the Continental club Gallery Austin, The Skylark lounge (voted the best club in Austin) as well as a two year residency on the Grand Piano at the Fulton bar in the beautiful Fairmont Hotel , downtown Austin Texas. Along with developing his own Jazz organ trio and piano solo gigs. Lloyd is now looking forward to a long and pleasurable experience working with the very talented artist and a world class group of musicians, ‘Stef and the Groove’.
