**We are currently offering a $1,500 signing bonus for the Irrigation Crew Leader position.** A full-service commercial landscape construction company located in Fort Myers, FL has an immediate opening for an experienced Irrigation Crew Leader. This position requires extensive understanding of irrigation and construction methods, along with basic knowledge of plant material. The Irrigation Crew Leader is responsible for interaction with the client, safety of the team, and success of the project. Duties/Responsibilities: · Lead and evaluate a crew of 2-3 team members on a daily basis · Complete required documentation of time and materials used on job site · Complete projects within budgeted hours and on schedule · Lead by example and help team members to grow and develop their skills · Ability to read and understand irrigation plans/specifics · Keep work vehicle and equipment clean and organized · Properly care for and maintain all equipment assigned to the crew · Complete daily timecard for irrigation crew · Monitor crew’s compliance with quality and safety standards · Layout and install new or renovated irrigation systems · Troubleshoot irrigation systems to determine reparation needs · Pulls and fits piping for irrigation systems · Sets sprinkler heads and valve boxes · Tests irrigation systems for proper functioning · Install controllers and program controllers · Operate trenchers and/or excavator Requirements: · Commercial irrigation experience · Experience leading, organizing, and managing multiple people · Must have ability to read scaled drawings, along with good math skills · Good communication skills (Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred) · Must have a valid driver’s license and qualifying MVR for auto insurance · Able to interact professionally with clients, team members and others
