A Father's Place will be hosting its third annual Building Futures Awards this fall. The BFA is held to recognize those relentlessly pursuing solutions and innovations that help neighbors in need and to inspire others. We intentionally designed the selection criteria to honor people who may or may not have any connection to our mission to ensure the most deserving person or group was chosen. Two special categories -- Public Safety Leadership and Community Health Leadership -- have been added this year to recognize those who stepped up in response to unexpected needs. Other awards include the traditional Pinnacle Award, and the Larry A. White "Lifetime in Leadership" Award, as well as Spiritual, Community Partnership, Corporate, Small Business and Public Service leadership awards. Additionally, there are three very special awards given to area fathers.
