SUMMARY: Greencraft Interiors is looking for a Cabinet Service Tech to perform Cabinet repairs in buyer occupied homes throughout the valley. The position focuses on new home construction to ensure quality service levels are delivered to our clients. Company vehicle provided with a company gas card. Cabinet experience is a must and willing to work in a fast-paced environment. There is a fair amount of drive time as the position will cover multiple tracts. RESPONSIBILITIES: Install new products, and test them to ensure they are working correctly Educating the client on how to use and maintain their device Perform maintenance and provide customer support Diagnose problems and come up with solutions to repair them Order parts needed for repairs if needed Fill out detailed reports and keep records on services that have been performed Explain issues with equipment and repairs to customers Build and maintain relationships with customers Install Cabinets – The service tech must know how to install all types of cabinets. Bases, Uppers, Ovens. Replace Face Frames – The service tech must know how to properly remove and replace a cabinet face-frame. Install/Cut Molding – Must know how to properly remove and replace all molding types, top and bottom moldings. Adjust Doors and Drawers Touch-Up Doors and Drawers using various types of colors and techniques. Re-Skin the exterior and/or interior of a cabinet. REPORTS TO Division Manager EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE Ability to install, repair, service, test and troubleshoot equipment Must be able to read blueprints and diagrams Ability to work flexible hours and work around a changing schedule Excellent communication, interpersonal and diagnostic skills Working knowledge of the equipment needed for the job Ability to work independently without much supervision Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the job which include bending, lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to effectively manage time LANGUAGE SKILLS · Bilingual preferred WORK ENVIRONMENT Installation Final Punch - Our goal is to make one trip back to the house after installation. The final punch is our opportunity to ensure we deliver a house that is 100% complete and that the quality exceeds expectations. Review the work order and make sure you have all parts to complete job. Review the QC Walk for the house so you understand the history of the house. Take your time, look beyond just the work order. Give the house one last final walk thru. Punch Check List: The punch check list needs to be completed and signed off. Photos: It is required that you take Before and After Photos of all houses and our services so we can make sure to protect ourselves. Homeowner Occupied – Our goal is to make sure we leave all customers satisfied Review the work order. Make sure you clearly understand the service requested. Verify all parts for color and quality. Open all parts prior to going to a homeowner occupied appointment. Call Homeowner prior to appointment to verify they are home and communicate your arrival time. Once Arrived Introduce yourself and clearly review the work order with the homeowner. Discuss process Provide Estimated time Once completed, review with the homeowner and get a signature. Clean-up. Take pride in having a clean and professional workplace. Additional work – Let the home buyer know that they need to communicate any additional items with their builder customer service rep. TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS · Will be required to travel to multiple jobsites on a regular and ongoing basis. · Must have a valid driver’s license and insurance that always meets the company’s requirements
