Second Time Around Realty Inc is a property management company and we are seeking a full-time Maintenance person for our locally owned and managed homes in Milwaukee, WI. We are looking for a personable, detail-oriented person to join our team and provide exceptional service to our residents. This position is responsible for responding to resident work orders for maintenance and repair services as well as assisting with the resetting of homes between tenants. The successful candidate will be well organized and be able to juggle ever-changing priorities. This full-time position offers paid vacation, personal time, and a Simple IRA match. Responsibilities and Duties: • Respond to resident work orders for maintenance service which will include general carpentry, floor repairs, painting, cleaning, trash removal, some basic plumbing & electrical repairs (HVAC a plus), and yard clean up. • Coordinate with outside contractors as needed. Receive competitive bids, verify completion and quality of work. • Other duties as assigned Requirements: • Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience preferred • Must have own basic tools • Must have own transportation • Good communication skills • Ability to deal with a wide variety of people • Must be detail oriented, reliable, and have good time management skills • Able to lift over 50 lbs. • Must have a valid Milwaukee County driver’s license • Must pass a background check Benefits: • Paid Vacation • Paid Personal Time • Simple IRA match Job Facts: • $17 - $20/hour Depending Upon Experience • Full-time, 40/hours per week • Equal Opportunity Employer Due to COVID-19 our offices are closed to visitors.
