Natick 'Scoopapalooza' Ice Cream Fest Is Back

NATICK, MA — Not like you need an excuse to indulge in a little (or a lot) of ice cream, but an upcoming event in Natick provides a little extra nudge. The Charles River Rotary Club will hold its 8th Scoopapalooza all-you-can eat ice cream festival in Natick on Aug. 22. Proceeds from the event go toward the rotary's scholarship contest, the Natick Food Pantry and other local groups. For $6, attendees can enjoy ice cream, plus music and other attractions. The event will run from 1 to 3 p.m. on Sunday at the Natick Common. The Charles River Rotary Club is seeking volunteers and sponsors for the event. Visit the club's website for details.
