WGPR-TV Historical Society Remembers and Celebrates Executive Director Karen Hudson Samuels by WGPR-TV Historical Society The WGPR-TV Historical Society invites you and a guest to join us for a special event featuring a remembrance of Executive Director Karen Hudson Samuels, the presentation of the first annual Karen Hudson Samuels Lifetime Achievement Award, and a tour and update on the William V. Banks Museum & Media Center, recently named a national historic site. Our keynote speaker for the evening is Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Stephen Henderson of Detroit Public Television’s “American Black Journal” and WDET-FM’s “Detroit Today.” We have limited capacity, so please RSVP early.
