Press release from the Village of Shorewood: August 13, 2021 With the recent power outages, the Department of Public Works has received many calls regarding the disposal of spoiled food. As of now, DPW has added 60 of these stops to our Friday "missed garbage" route. Residents impacted by recent prolonged power outages may drop off food waste at the DPW facility on Saturday, August 14 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon). Only food waste will be accepted - no household waste, furniture, electronics, etc. No fees will apply. This press release was produced by the Village of Shorewood.
