The Special Needs Arts Program, Inc. (SNAP) is based in Lexington, runs visual arts and chorus programs for individuals with special needs. We are looking for volunteers, including teens, to assist our instructors and special needs class participants beginning for this Fall 2021 session ads we anticipate returning to in person programming.
Sing Along Choruses are broken into two groups and have weekly evening music rehearsals to practice for their Fall Concert and community performances.
Wednesdays: 7:00 to 8:30pm starting September 15th, 2021
Mondays: 7:00 to 8:30pm. Starting September 20th, 2021
Special Artists projects can include watercolor/acrylic painting, fabric painting, wood projects, and multi-media art among others and meet for various programs throughout the year.
Volunteer Requirements: Art or Chorus experience is NOT required.
Need to be reliable, friendly and sociable.
Volunteers will help class participants in conjunction with supportive and experienced staff.
SNAP has developed a COVID-19 policy to be signed by all participants and volunteers and will be instituting safety precautions.
SNAP Programs operate in collaborations with the Town of Lexington.

Everyone is welcome to attend our open house on Monday, September 13th, from 7-8:30pm at the Lexington Community Center, 39 Marrett Road, Lexington, MA
This is a fun way to learn more about our music and art offerings, meet program leaders and get registered for our programs or to become a Volunteer.
