BELLMORE, NY — Nassau County police arrested a man Wednesday night who they say is responsible for more than a dozen burglaries across the county. According to police, officers received a call for a suspicious person on the roof of a jewelry store on Bedford Avenue in Bellmore, but the man fled before officers arrived.
