The Humboldt World Community Percussion Ensemble (HWCPE) is a brand new community ensemble dedicated to bringing people together through music. We rehearse Sunday afternoons, working traditional repertoire of the Ewe and Dagombas of Ghana, North/South Indian Classical drumming, original compositions of well known world percussion artists such Hands On'semble, and more! Our current project is a traditional Ewe piece called Circle Atsia.
