We are seeking a full-time CAD Drafter with drafting experience. This person will be responsible for drawing 2D countertop shop tickets/blueprints in a dxf file. RESPONSIBILITIES: • Provide CAD drawings that will be used by the shop to fabricate countertops • Produce legible and technically correct drawings in an efficient manner • Ensure the quality of outgoing drawings • Communicate with project managers, salespersons and shop personnel to complete drawings for projects in a timely fashion EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE • High school degree or equivalent • Minimum 1 year of relevant CAD drafting experience. Alpha CAM programming and AutoCAD experience a plus. • Working knowledge of layers in AutoCAD • Ability to read blueprints, use a tape measure and scale, and create shop tickets in CAD • Detail oriented • High degree of self motivation • Ability to work independently and as part of a team • Excellent written and verbal communication skills LANGUAGE SKILLS • English Proficient WORK ENVIRONMENT • The work environment characteristics are normal office and warehouse conditions TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS • Travel on occasion may be needed
