Missing Boater Found Friday A boater, missing from Lake Winnipesaukee's Paugus Bay on Thursday, has been found, according to WMUR-TV. The body of Stephen Moore, 48, of Meredith was pulled from the lake on Friday. While attempting to drop anchor, he slipped and fell, and drowned, according to witnesses. Former Police Commissioner Gets Community Service After Shooting A former Portsmouth police commissioner avoided jail time after shooting a teenager in 2018, who she thought was an intruder, according to the New Hampshire Union Leader. Brenna Cavanaugh was sentenced to community service on an attempted simple assault charge.
