Coffee For Champions Planned In Lemont

LEMONT, IL — Lemont Police Department will participate in Coffee for Champions, and help rally support for local Special Olympics athletes. According to Special Olympics Illinois, this is the 18th anniversary of the Dunkin' partnership with the Law Enforcement Torch Run for Special Olympics Illinois. Coffee for Champions will be held Aug. 20 from 5 a.m. to noon at both Dunkin' Lemont locations, at 15629 W. 127th St., and 12371 Derby Road. According to Special Olympics Illinois, law enforcement officers will be at more than 300 Dunkin' locations across Illinois, including in Lemont. Guests can stop by and make a donation to the Torch Run and receive a coupon for a free donut. If you donate $10, you will receive a free travel mug and a coupon for a medium hot coffee. There are also T-shirts for $15, hats for $15 and pins for $5 to support Special Olympics Illinois.
