Golden State (5) Freeway: All Lanes Clear After 3-Vehicle Pileup

LAGUNA HILLS, CA — A three-vehicle pileup on the Golden State (5) Freeway snarled traffic on the southbound 5, Thursday afternoon. The pileup involved a car and two SUV's on the 5 freeway at El Toro Road in the vicinity of Laguna Hills. The disabled vehicles have been cleared, and it was not yet known if anyone was injured in the collision. All lanes were reopened as of 2:15 p.m., though traffic remained slow through the area.
