STILLWATER, MN — Washington County's population grew by 12.4 percent between 2010 and 2020, according to data released by the United States Census Bureau Thursday. Only four other Minnesota counties grew as fast as Washington County. In 2010, the county's population was 238,136. In 2020, the county's population was 267,568, an increase of 29,432. Overall, Minnesota's population grew to more than 5,700,000 in 2020, a 7.6 percent increase since 2010.
