HENNEPIN COUNTY, MN — Hennepin County's population grew by 11.2 percent between 2010 and 2020, according to data released by the United States Census Bureau Thursday. Only five other Minnesota counties grew as fast as Hennepin County. In 2010, the county's population was 1,152,425. In 2020, the county's population was 1,152,425, an increase of 129,140. Overall, Minnesota's population grew to more than 5,700,000 in 2020, a 7.6 percent increase since 2010.
