Smallcakes Cupcakery & Creamery - Danville is now hiring part-time Retail Cashier/ Front Counter Customer Service associates - Must be at least 18 years of age to applyThis is not a seasonal positionMust be enthusiastic with an outgoing positive attitudeMust be available to work morning shifts at least 3 days a week Monday thru Friday (9:15 AM - 2:45 PM OR 12:30 p.m. - 4:30 PM) and possibly SaturdaysBe dependableAble to work in a fast paced environment and willing to go above and beyondMust love interacting with peoplePrevious work experience is a PLUSIdeal candidate lives within a 5-10 mile radiusPerfect for students who are going to college locally Job Responsibilities Greet ALL customers in a welcoming and friendly mannerAnswer the phones professionallyObtain and effectively communicate special ordersCommunicate Signature flavors and daily specials to customersBox cupcakes and scoop ice creamMaintain a clean and neat service area at all times according to Smallcakes and state health department standardsWork Point of Sale system to complete sale transactions with a smilePromote and encourage rewards program(s)Assist with Smallcakes marketingPerform other duties as assigned Job Type: Part-time Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour COVID-19 considerations:All employees wear masks, only one family allowed into the store at any one time, customers are required to wear masks to enter the store, frequent sanitizing all high touch areas.
