Multiple other vehicles collided with the Toyota and its driver, the 33-year-old man, was ejected from the vehicle and died at the scene, CHP officials said. His name hasn't been released.
Two people in the other vehicles involved went to a hospital with minor injuries.
CHP investigators said impairment may have been a factor in the crash, but the case remains under investigation. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call Officer Barday at 707-428-2100.
