GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — One out of every 486 residents in Greenwich Village has died from the coronavirus, according to data from the city. Of the 107,465 people that live within the 10003, 10012, and 10014 ZIP codes in Lower Manhattan, the city says 221 locals have passed away from the virus. In terms of caseload, one out of every 12 locals has been diagnosed with coronavirus since the pandemic began in 2020.
