Teach me how to use router table

I have a router table at my dads and several bits but haven’t really played around with it yet. Kinda intimidated. No one I know has much experience with it to show me. I am going to build my husband a coffee bar for his mini fridge and keurig brewer from maple lumber that is 3/4”. I want to use the router to finish the edges of the top and bottom pieces so they look curved rather than flat with layers and layers of wood showing. I want it to look as if it is a solid board. My two teen boys and I would watch you do it and learn well that way if you explain as you go. Can reimburse for your time. You suggest what dollar amount.
