Press release from the City of Mobile Police Department: Aug 13, 2021 On Thursday, August 12, 2021, at approximately 9:56 p.m., Mobile Police officers responded to the 300 block of Union Avenue in reference to a vehicle that struck a church. Upon arrival, police officers discovered Ronald Cummings, age 57, deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.    We will release updates as information becomes available.
