Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 08/04/2021 212161992  Preliminary information: On Wednesday, August 4, 2021, at around 9:40 p.m., officers were dispatched to 310 Thomasville Blvd SE on a person shot call.  Upon arrival, officers located a male suffering from a gunshot wound.  He was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.  There is no suspect information to provide at this time and Homicide Investigators were notified and will be responding to determine the circumstances surrounding the shooting.  The investigation continues.    Please keep in mind the above information is preliminary in nature and can change as the investigation progresses and new information comes to light.
