NANNY Job Title: Nanny Reports To: Maureen Vazquez & Assistant Compensation: $20.00/hr Status: Part Time (20-25 hours per week) Location: Primarily the Vazquez Household in Los Osos WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR: We're a busy business owning couple with four (lovely :)) kids in search of a nanny to help our family four days a week. We need someone who is fun and energetic, can help with homework, oversee chores, initiate activities, and outings, and manage household tasks and childcare throughout the day. Our kids are super close and play really well together. They love crafts, baking, and games. We want to come home to a tidy house (we're kind of neat freaks) and get an honest update on the kids (what went well, what could have been better). We're looking for someone who will not be on their phone or computer while on the job, is direct with communication and proactive around the house, and is eager to build a close relationship the kids they care for. Minimum qualifications: • Enthusiastic, fun, and eager to play, explore, and create • Interested in crafting, games, and being outside • Direct and clear communicator - quick to help solve problems and raise issues • Experience caring for 3+ children • Track record of reliability • Ability to stay cool under stress • Must have reliable transportation - driver's license and clean driving record • Non-smoker • Experience using an EpiPen is a plus (3 kids have nut allergies) Position Details This unique position is responsible for handling day to day care for 4 children and household tasks as needed for the Vazquez Household. Job tasks Include, but are not limited to: • Pick up kids from school • Prepare meals and help with light housework • Assist with homework • Oversee and enforce chores+ "house rules" • Get kids running around outside - Take kids to park/ beach/ playground regularly • Tidy house, do dishes Want to work with us?
