*CDL and/or Septic Pump experience is preferred but will train for CDL licensing. All Cen Tex Septic & Vacuum Pump is seeking a dependable and hard-working full-time Septic Vacuum Truck Operator to serve our clients in the Central Texas area. We are a local, family-owned company, with an excellent reputation, and have been in business since 1987 serving our customers around Austin TX and surrounding cities. Primary Responsibilities: • Upon arrival at job location, ability to assess safest location for parking (avoid powerlines, tree limbs and landscaping) • Clear communication with client to assess issues and needs • Septic system pump and inspection for issues as trained (any issues are to also be communicated with client) • Write out and provide invoices as well as handle payment collection if needed We highly value our relationships with our clients, we stress the importance of efficient job-site work and professional communication. • Follow company procedures in filing invoice and note-taking with office staff • Lead by example to assist in the professional development of apprentices which also includes training and delegating tasks. • Light vehicle maintenance (preventative and routine) Other responsibilities: • Adhering to All Cen Tex policies, rules, and regulations • Strick dress code policy (uniforms are provided) • Availability to work after-hours and weekends as needed • Ability to pass random drug/alcohol test for random Federal DOT requirements Minimum Qualification: • High school diploma or GED equivalent • Have a valid driver’s license • No active suspensions on driver’s license • No more than 2 moving violations in the past 12 months • No DWI/DUI convictions • Must have reliable transportation • Must be able to speak/read/write in English *CDL and/or Septic Pump experience is preferred but will train for CDL licensing. Physical Requirements: • Must be able to perform physical tasks such as the ability to lift and carry, including overhead, up to 50lbs or more. • Ability to perform repetitive movements such as bending, pulling, pushing, and digging. • Ability to use tools such as a rock bar, shovel, probe, etc. • Ability to work just as efficiently in all weather conditions Hours & Compensation: • Full-time with the availability to work after-hours and weekends as needed • Competitive compensation rate with experience and CDL licensed • Quick pay rate advancement following a 90-day introductory probationary period Company Benefits: • Medical Insurance • Retirement Program • Paid Vacation • Paid Holidays *Drive brand new Mack trucks that are top of line and leading edge in our industry* How to Apply: No phone calls.
