Volunteer Delivery Driver Opportunity! Do you enjoy making personal connections? Would you like to help homebound seniors maintain their independence? Become a weekly grocery Delivery Driver for Store to Door. We have shift available serving N. Portland. You’ll pick up the already-shopped groceries on Thursday between 10:30 and 12:30pm from the Hollywood Fred Meyer and deliver them to your clients using your own vehicle. We reimburse you.56 per mile. Deliveries take anywhere from 1-2 hours. You would be delivering to the same clients each week, so you'll have a chance to develop a relationship with your clients to help them avoid social isolation. All you need is a good driving record, a few hours each week and a commitment to make a difference. Volunteers must be at least 18yrs and pass a background check.
