Dishwasher and Kitchen Assistant (Old Brookville / Glen Head) compensation: based on experience and commitment ($16-$22/hour) employment type: full-time (Monday - Friday) Dishwashing and Kitchen Assistant Candidate Responsibilities - Maintaining a clean and organized sink and washing area - Cleaning trays, utensils, pots, etc. used by the cooking and baking staff - Communicating and engaging with management to make improvements when deemed necessary - Having a strong work ethic and sense of urgency --- We are looking to hire a full-time dishwasher in our commercial kitchen which produces scratch made cookies, pies, quick breads, brownies as well as soups, quiches, jam and pot pies. Typical hours are 7am to 3:30pm. We pay over time and hours increase around the holidays. Extended hours around holidays are required. High attention to detail, good communication skills, a strong sense of urgency and excelling working as a team are very important to us. Of course, cleanliness and time management are critical as well. The position can be physically demanding in terms of lifting and being on your feet so being comfortable and aware of that aspect of the job is important.
