Arrow is an 8 year-old chihuahua super-mutt. He’s 13 pounds of pure love. Arrow LOVES to snuggle and is happiest curled up against his person. He is extremely smart and his eagerness to please makes him easy to train. Arrow is potty trained and will let you know when he needs to go outside. He is also crate trained, knows commands (he loves training), and walks well on a leash. He enjoys hikes, walks, and running alongside a bicycle. Arrow’s perfect home is with a calm, confident, experienced dog owner who can provide the stability and routine that allow Arrow to be his sweet, silly self. Arrow needs help navigating unfamiliar or over stimulating interactions. He will do best in a quiet, child-free home with no other pets. While Arrow is slow to warm with most new people, once he trusts you, he will happily follow you anywhere - camping, hiking, biking, and running. Despite his preference to always be laying on you, consistent exercise is a must for this pint sized pup to relax, whether that be daily walks or something more adventurous. While Arrow does currently live with another dog, he is “selective” and does not get along with most other dogs. He will often bark when he sees them on walks and needs a person who will keep calm and help him work through the situation. Arrow was previously adopted from Wiggly Tails and has been a member of his current household for 4.5 years. In that time, he has blossomed into a charming, sassy snuggle pal. His owners love him to the moon and back, but the addition of a new baby upended his world and despite the best efforts of his family over the past year, he has not been able to adjust. Arrow is not an easy dog, but he is someone’s perfect dog. Once you’re “his person,” Arrow is the most loyal companion anyone could ask for. ***Arrow’s adoption is not first come first serve - he will remain with his current family until his special someone is found.*** There will be an adoption fee to ensure he goes to a good home. The fee will be donated to Wiggly Tails.
